A new CD called "The Rubbish Song" was launched with the help of children from Pickering, Malton and Thornton Dale. The CPRE Ryedale Branch and Pride in Pickering joined forces to produce a song to help the children remember to "STOP THE DROP". With the help of Scarborough Music Centre and the Easy band, we now have our own CD.Will Gates, who is in charge of Litteraction Nationally came to the launch in the Memorial Hall in October and he was very impressed. For the past 4 years Pickering children have been learning about litter, how not to drop it and how to help with the litter picking to keep the Town tidy and we are sure that the Town looks better for it.
