UPDATE

            The Stape Silver Band have had yet another busy year and will round off the year with our visit to the Annual Yorkshire and Humberside Contest held at the Milton Rooms in Malton on the 1st  November. The band have won this contest for the last 3 years and will therefore be looking for a good result.

            Our annual Christmas Concert in aid of Yorkshire Cancer research will be held at St. Peter and St. Paul’s Church on  Sunday the 13th December. The band have played this concert for Yorkshire Cancer Research for over 40 years and it is well attended by their faithful supporters. The programme will include some Christmas Arrangements along with music from our Summer concerts. The concert will start at 2pm and tickets will be available on the door.

            We will be spreading Christmas cheer to residents in Pickering on the evenings of Tuesday the 15th December, Thursday the 17th December, Sunday the 20th December and Tuesday 22nd of December. We will be visiting the residential estates around Pickering on these nights, so keep and ear out for us and top up your Christmas Spirit. The band will finish its Christmas season on 24th December by playing between 9.30am and 12.30pm in the Market Place in Pickering entertaining the Christmas Shoppers.
