Once again the Pickering Committee would like to thank the residents of Pickering and the surrounding villages for their generous contributions to the House-to-House Collection in March. Even though we had fewer collectors, the excellent total of £3,589-63 was raised. This is a very creditable amount in view of people's financial constraints at the moment. Funding research to find cures for various cancers is   ongoing and we shall be requesting your generosity again on Saturday 23rd July when we have a Flag Day in Pickering and Thornton le Dale.

Thank you too for the support we get from the collectors who knock on doors in their area several times to make sure they collect as much as possible. They do a marvellous job.
