The Village Show |

Middleton, a beautiful small village on the outskirts of Pickering is to hold its first village show on Sunday 3rd August 2008.
There are many ladies in this village and Aislaby, who are excellent bakers and who produce jams and pickles from homegrown produce.
Both men and women in the villages enjoy gardening, growing beautiful flowers and tasty vegetables. Many talented craftspeople too, artists, photographers embroiderers, egg decorators, flower arrangers and woodworkers just name but a few.
The entrants to the show must be residents in Middleton or Aislaby, so come on Middletonians and Aislabyites, as you plant and tend your garden this year, bear in mind the show on the 3rd of August.
There will be a class for photographs of life in Middleton and Aislaby, so get your cameras out and start clicking.
Children's classes too, for miniature gardens and art, so while away the dull wet days, get practicing!
Residents of both villages, please enter your produce and crafts and make this a day to remember.
Everyone is welcome to visit the show to see what Middleton and Aislaby residents can do. Tea will be available, as well as a raffle and tombola. Proceeds for the village hall.
Mark your diaries for the 3rd of August and, and come and enjoy a day of fun.
