|
This centre was founded in 1982 and is one of about 80 recognised by the National Trust as an association of N.T. members and volunteers. Membership is open to any member or volunteer of the N.T. and the N.T. for Scotland, on payment of a small subscription, presently of £6.00. The aims of a centre are: i) to organise fund raising activities for N.T. Where do we meet? At Kirby Misperton Village Hall, once a month for six months of the year, on Saturday afternoons. What happens? We have an interesting lecture, a cup of tea, socialise with other members. Before some meetings we have a very enjoyable lunch – Anything else? Lots of other activities – including organised walks around the area: outings with guided tour: a social group annual holiday, in May 2011, is going to Oxfordshire. If you would like to come along and join us, you will be assured of a warm welcome and enjoyable afternoon. |
