            Saturday 17th September. York Community Gospel Choir at Pickering Methodist Church - The 40 member strong York Community Gospel Choir was formed to celebrate the powerful and  inspirational tradition of gospel music and under the direction of Kofi and Heather Mensah, has a growing reputation as one of the foremost choirs in the North of England. Drawing on the best musical talents from the many communities and churches in and around York, the choir performs a range of traditional and contemporary gospel songs. Supporting the choir will be guitarist and classical pianist Chris Mountford, and violinist Ben Cooper. Starts at 7.30pm – Free entry – Retiring collection/donation in aid of Ryedale Special Families.
